Plan decision

Webflow pricing for portfolio designers

A portfolio usually needs a custom domain, dependable publishing, and enough structure to keep projects consistent. It rarely needs the largest plan. Start with the content model and choose the smallest plan that supports it.

The two likely portfolio choices

Prices checked . Taxes, add-ons, promotions, and Workspace charges may differ.

Basic

$15/month yearly or $25 monthly

A focused portfolio that does not need CMS collections.

Watch for: No Webflow CMS for repeatable case-study content.

Premium

$25/month yearly or $39 monthly

A portfolio with CMS-powered case studies or a growing content library.

Watch for: Costs more and adds structure that a small static portfolio may not need.

Before purchasing, verify current prices, limits, and billing terms on Webflow’s official pricing page.

Basic Site plan

Use Basic for a focused static portfolio

Basic is the simpler choice when every project can be maintained as a normal page and you do not need CMS collections. It includes custom-domain publishing but excludes Webflow CMS.

This works well for a compact portfolio with a homepage, about page, contact route, and a few projects that change infrequently.

Premium Site plan

Use Premium when projects need a content system

Premium is the practical choice when case studies share repeatable fields or when the portfolio includes articles, talks, experiments, or a substantial project library.

The CMS reduces repeated layout work, but it also introduces a content model that you must maintain. Decide the fields first.

Separate charges

Keep Site plans and Workspace plans distinct

A Site plan covers publishing and site capabilities. Workspace plans cover collaboration and broader building workflows. Review both parts of the current pricing page before assuming the displayed Site price is your complete cost.

Annual prices lower the effective monthly cost but require an upfront commitment. Use monthly billing while validating the portfolio if the cash difference matters more than the annual saving.

Decision rule

Choose based on the next twelve months, not imagined scale

Choose Basic if the portfolio is small and static. Choose Premium if a CMS will immediately power repeated case studies or publishing. Revisit the decision when the content model changes.
